Terms of service

Last updated September 10, 2026. These terms govern operator use of the Verteo exchange.

01

Eligibility

Verteo accounts are available to licensed ground transportation operators only. You must hold valid operating authority in each market you serve, maintain commercial insurance meeting the platform minimum, and provide a completed W-9 or equivalent tax documentation. Consumer, broker, and reseller accounts are prohibited.

02

Posting a ride

A posted ride is an offer to farm out work at or below the stated floor price under the stated bidding window. Ride details you publish must be accurate and complete, including vehicle class, passenger count, service type, and any special requirements. You remain responsible to your own client for the ride's performance.

03

Bids are binding

A submitted bid is a binding offer to perform the ride as described, at the bid amount, for thirty minutes or until the window closes. If awarded, you must supply a compliant vehicle and a qualified driver. Any vehicle substitution must be declared at bid time and is shown to the posting operator.

04

Awards and cancellation

The posting operator selects the winning bid at its sole discretion and is not obliged to award the lowest. An award forms a contract between the two operators; Verteo is not a party to it. Cancellation terms are those stated in the post, and late cancellations may invoice at the stated percentage.

05

Non-solicitation

Passenger and account information released to you for a ride may be used only to perform that ride. Soliciting a posting operator's passenger or corporate account for direct business is a material breach and grounds for permanent removal from the network.

06

Fees and settlement

Verteo charges a flat percentage on completed rides. No subscription, listing, or bidding fees apply. Invoices are raised on completion under the terms agreed between the operators; Verteo records and tracks them but does not hold funds.

07

Disputes and suspension

Either operator may open a dispute within fourteen days of completion. Verteo reviews the job record — post terms, bid tape, award, status timestamps — and issues a determination. Repeated no-shows, undeclared substitutions, overdue balances, or solicitation may result in suspension or removal.

08

Limitation of liability

Verteo provides the exchange and the record. It does not operate vehicles, employ drivers, or guarantee performance or payment between operators. Liability is limited to fees paid to Verteo for the ride in question.
